This section is under construction. It will be dedicated
to three topics and intended for Catholics and those interested in the Catholic
Church.
- Links to Catholic websites faithful to the Magisterium
(teaching authority) of the Church.
- Apologetics (understanding and defending the faith handed
down from the apostles through the Catholic Church for two thousand years).
Particular attention will be paid to explanations of Catholic teachings that
will hopefully be easily understood by those who are not members of the
Catholic Church but sincerely wish to know more about the Church and its
teaching. There will be no bashing of any faith and all reasonable questions
will be answered honestly to the best of my ability.
- The Eastern Catholic Churches from a Roman Catholic
perspective. I was blessed with the opportunity to worship at
St. Gregory of Nyssa Byzantine
Catholic Church in Beltsville, Maryland USA, where my family was made
welcome by Rev. Father Michael Kerestes and Rev. Deacon William Szewczyk.
This was my first experience with the Divine Liturgy and it was a very
spiritual experience. Prior to my visit I attempted to find web sites would
let me know what to expect so I wouldn't feel totally lost, but I really
didn't find any that served my need. Therefore, I'll attempt to create one
here. I will invite you to ask questions and I'll do my best to find the
answers. If you are a member of one of the Eastern Churches, I would encourage
you to look over my work and let me know what I've done wrong!
